James Evans & Sons is a family-owned and family-run steel engineering company located in Ross-shire in the Highlands of Scotland. Founded in 1977, the company has grown steadily to respond to the needs of regional and international clients, but is still managed by the Evans family.
Fabrication work covers structural steel frames for commercial, industrial and private clients, as well as projects for energy industries and the Highlands’ rapidly-developing renewables sector. Being located at the heart of this fast-growing sector reduces delivery time and cuts energy miles, helping to deliver projects faster with less environmental impact.
We carry out design and modelling in-house, and welcome the challenge of finding creative solutions to our clients’ challenges, wherever they may take us. Increasingly this has involved working with architects across the Highlands on private house builds and renovation projects, marrying cutting-edge structural steel to weathered original materials with precision and control.
